The committee responded to all the questions except we declined to disclose whether or not we were represented by an attorney.
September 25 Email from Karla WeedenSeptember 26 Response from the committee to the questions posed
On Thursday October 2 Karla emailed a proposal for a meeting to the committee. The following morning, the committee responded affirmatively to the board’s proposed meeting. Both emails follow.
After receiving the response, the board directed Karla to revise the earlier proposal and change the meeting entirely to one in which the committee abandons the Code of Conduct validated as the basis for a Special Meeting by the members and requests the committee to commence another effort. Karla’s emails on Friday afternoon of October 3 and the committee’s response the following Monday morning October 5 follow.
Petition and Members Special Meeting Status Update September 24, 2025: Graham Management validated petitions exceeding the 10 % minimum threshold necessary to call a members special meeting was met before noon on Wednesday September 10, 2025. The BLPOA board of directors was immediately requested to place on their September board meeting agenda an item to discuss and prepare for the special meeting at the September 18 board meeting. Despite having more than day and a half to include this agenda item, board President Charles Shirley stated the request was too late to be included on the September board meeting agenda. Mr. Shirley and the Graham Management representative at the meeting indicated to owners they should contact Property Manager Karla Weeden to make arrangements for the meeting upon her return from vacation on Monday September 22, 2025. All information requested by Karla including an agenda and ballot have been provided to her. In a telephone conversation on September 22 with Karla she indicated she would be contacting the association’s attorney, Chris Archenbault, Porter Law Firm, this week to discuss arrangements. The committee has registered BLPOA with CISD so any of the immediate vicinity schools can be utilized for the members special meeting and advised Graham Management of this arrangement.
